Who would have thought that pinkish-gray wrinkly blob would serve a purpose? (Historically, lots of societies thought it was the heart that contained the essentials of life.)
There is a very curious statement in the English language - "What was I thinking?!"
When it's heard, it seems to make sense. On another level; however, it is the essence of the mystery behind that lump of tissue in your noggin - there is clearly a separate me: the one analyzing the thinking, and an it: the one doing the thinking (brain).
How can it be that there is a distinct difference? Aren't our bodies one, coherent, state? We analyze the environment according to our senses, we make our move depending upon the feedback our brain gives us, and we watch to see what happens. All in one, fluid, coherent motion.
But, remember, you can clearly define times in your life where you weren't sure "what you were thinking."
You DO have the power to control the thoughts inside of your head. You can sit down and analyze what's being pumped out. Where are these thoughts coming from? What are they saying? Why did they come about?
Relax, analyze, and make an assessment.
Are you pleased with what your brain is saying? If not, change it. Your brain is not YOU. It is a tool that is available to you.
Used properly, it can change your world.
